I purchased the Glosky 12 by55 Monocular with the smartphone adaptor to use for surf photography . Mounted on a full size tripod, using an iphone XR and a remote shutter trigger, i can take excellent shots of surfers up to about 60 yards. It has rendered using a 35 MM camera and telephoto lense, obsolete. I use a Firefield 20 by 60, 60mm spotting scope for shooting from greater distances but for closer shooting . the Glosky 12 by 55 monocular is excellent.
